If you’re short on time but really craving some fast food pizza, start with a frozen plain cheese pizza. Then add baby spinach or arugula leaves, broccoli florets, sliced red bell peppers, onions and mushrooms, and another other veggie you adore.
You can get a crispier crust if you just slide the pizza onto your oven rack, sans the pizza stone. Serve with a delicious leafy green salad with more veg toppings and a yummy vinaigrette you make from scratch. Use just a tad – the veggies are already bursting with vibrant flavor.
