Life’s experiences escalate and weigh on us, conceal our intentions for a better life, and lead us to dissatisfaction. Perhaps we gain weight, become a couch potato and stop paying attention to our body. We begin to feel inactive and “less than,” and poor eating habits only further drag us down. We are uncomfortable in our own skin. Our body image suffers. We feel unfulfilled at the deepest essence of our being.
I believe that inside of you, there is a radiant authentic Self— and that when you seek, find and acknowledge that, you also rediscover the self-love and serenity that innately dwells within.
Through clarity of what your body needs, mindful eating techniques, and experience using both, you will find the peaceful place where every day you feel centered in yourself–clear, thoughtful and aware, fulfilled and accepting of who you are. You can live fully and unconditionally, nourishing your body in a healthy way that nourishes your spirit.

As a nutrition therapist, and your partner, I hold the space for you of compassion, connection, clarity, and curiosity in your inquiry. So supported, in steady, small steps, you begin to heal and transform your relationship with food.

I support you as you connect barriers to change to a toolbox of powerful and effective techniques that lead to successful transformation, as you need. Mindfulness and a myriad of integrative approaches give you the freedom to blend mind, body, and spirit into your approach.
Through exploration of triggers and unconscious behaviors, you’ll discover the ability to identify deep-seated patterns that do not align with your internal and conscious goals. You’ll discover your personal desires and establish realistic expectations and goals. We work together in the effort, and as awareness grows, the change you seek begins to happen. I believe in your ability to do this!
Initial Consultation: The first session is a nutrition assessment. This may include reviewing medical, weight and diet history, eating patterns and preferences, values, or calculating your caloric and nutrition needs. Dependent on your needs, we may explore meal planning, food plans, grocery shopping, updating your nutrition knowledge database as needed, food records, how to deal with the parts of you involved in emotional and stress eating, optimal eating out choices, or exploring elimination diets for Irritable Bowel Syndrome and other digestive issues. We’ll always end with an action plan.
Follow-up Sessions: We’ll review your progress, update your plan as needed, and brainstorm barriers and lifestyle events that occur, like business travel, vacations, holiday meals, and office party birthday cake (may include review of food records and meal plans, revising nutrient intake to reflect weight loss, and cooking tips).
