Tired people have less leptin (a hormone that tells you when to stop eating) and ghrelin (to let you know when you’re hungry), as well as a bigger appetite and weight gain. Tired people hug themselves with food – get some sleep and hug a tree instead.
Explore your relationship with food, body image, and emotions through yoga and mindful awareness. You’ll use yoga poses and philosophy, education, discussion and spiritual support on this journey to break the cycle of dieting and bingeing and move toward change, self-acceptance and self-awareness.
Through this unique 7-week program, you'll experience how yoga reunites your body to your heart and mind to fill the void that separates them.
Just bring a pen and a pad of paper and dress in loose and comfortable clothing- we'll supply all the yoga accessories you'll need for this voyage into mindful eating and utlimately, a deep self love.
